The Efforts to Battle COVID-19 Continue
Since the outbreak of Covid-19 in 2020, the pandemic has influenced people’s daily lives and normal business operations significantly. As one of the most influential and multinational enterprises carrying out import and export transactions in the industry, epidemic prevention measures impact Hape heavily. Responsible for its staff and society writ large, Hape actively supports the local government at all times, so in order to support China’s “dynamic zero-COVID” policy and to make ensure that Hape is a safe place to work in, Hape China quickly set-up a PCR testing team that included 28 volunteers, in order to carry out PCR tests for its employees. Such measures played an active role in preventing the epidemic from encroaching on our operations and activities. Below, we would like to share some of the epidemic prevention efforts that Hape China has recently made.
On May 7th, we set up a volunteer team take control of the PCR testing process, collecting swab samples from the nucleic acid tests, packaging the samples and delivering them etc.
On May the 11th, in order to provide more professional services and to improve the testing efficiency, the volunteers were trained and exposed to some professional medical knowledge by local doctors and nurses.
On May 13th, the first nucleic acid test site was successfully constructed in Hape China. The test sites have been set-up in a highly convenient manner that enables all employees to reach one in just a 5-minute walk from their offices.
The year ahead will continue to be full of challenges, and we all hope that our joint efforts will lead us into a bright future, as, oftentimes, “happiness often comes after bitterness”. Hape will hereby honour its commitment to its staff and continue to make its contributions to society in the long battle against COVID-19.
