Hape Group (Ningbo) Donates To The Battle Against NCP
Since the outbreak of the New Coronavirus Pneumonia (NCP) on the eve of Spring Festival in Wuhan, Hubei Province, China, the official health authorities have taken a series of prompt actions in response to the top major public health emergency level. Hape has also made its own contribution in the battle against the epidemic.
On January 30th, Hape designated a certain proportion of its donated 5-million charity fund to purchase medical equipment or compensate medical workers, to help ease the surging demand for protective equipment. The donations arrived the account of Ningbo Beilun Charity Federation on that day and have been put into use.
As a Swiss holding company, Hape Group is the first foreign-invested enterprise in Beilun that has volunteered to make donations and among the first batch of companies in Ningbo to do so. We know that without the support and empowerment of the community, Hape could never make such a contribution. Now it’s our turn to repay society. Hape is also working closely with the local government and the community, strictly following the epi-control policies and keeping close track of the health and travel conditions of its staff in China. With these measures, Hape has built a solid supervision system to guarantee a safe path during this difficult period.
We promise that Hape will stay highly alert on the spreading of the disease, cooperate with local authorities and deploy the published regulations to fulfill our commitment to the safety of our society.
